How do I install DisplayLink drivers?

Instructions for Mac

1. Download DisplayLink Manager for macOS and install the package file.
2. Once installed, open DisplayLink Manager. It will appear in the menu bar located in the top-right of the screen. 
3. Download and install the login screen extension. 
4. Enable automatic startup by selecting "Launch app automatically after logging in."
5. Now connect the SmartDesk Type-D and verify the monitors are detected.
6. Then navigate to System Preferences and open Security & Privacy.
7. Under the Privacy tab, select Screen Recording from the column on the left.
8. Grant screen recording permission to DisplayLink Manager.
   
   

Instructions for Windows

1. Download and install DisplayLink Manager for Windows from the Microsoft Store.
2. Once installed, launch DisplayLink Manager. It will appear in the taskbar located in the bottom-right of the screen.
3. Now connect the SmartDesk Type-D and verify the monitors are detected.
